Lukasz Gwardynski
VP OF Engineering
Lukasz Gwardynski joined Amp Americas in August 2025 as Vice President of Engineering, where he has ownership of engineering strategy, design, and execution across the company’s renewable natural gas platform. In this role, Lukasz leads all aspects of project engineering and execution — from concept development and detailed design through execution and construction support, commissioning, and operational handoff — ensuring projects are executed safely, efficiently, and to the highest technical standards. He works closely with operations, commercial, and leadership teams to translate strategic objectives into scalable, reliable engineering solutions.
Lukasz is an accomplished operations and engineering leader with a proven track record in the agricultural vegetable oils, biofuels, and biogas industries. He has held leadership roles including Plant Manager, Director of Operations & Optimization, and VP-level engineering positions, with direct responsibility for capital project execution, process performance, and asset optimization. Throughout his career, he has led multidisciplinary teams across diverse regions, driving operational excellence through process optimization, standardization, and disciplined project execution. His experience includes aligning engineering initiatives with long-term technology and growth strategies while partnering with commercial and R&D teams to deliver practical, customer-driven solutions.
Lukasz earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Edinburgh Business School and a Master’s degree in Automatics and Robotics from Gdansk University of Technology, combining strong technical foundations with business and leadership acumen.
Outside of work, Lukasz enjoys sports and spending time outdoors. He is passionate about mentoring and community involvement, actively supporting small businesses and previously leading the SCORE business mentoring chapter in Decatur, IL.
